Annual Comic Con India 2013
The only place on Earth to confine all of its mystical powers, magic and superheroes; our world’s own Asgard, Gotham City and Wonderland; the biggest inspiration for us all. It’s here, it’s on and it’s rocking for the 3rd time in a row. Welcome to India’s one and only Annual Comic Con, being hosted at Dilli Haat in Delhi. Get ready to be stumped and thumped for the next 3 days (Feb 8- 10), as Delhi prepares to carry the load of all of mankind’s saviours and entertainers. From Marvel to Manga, and Archie to Chacha Chaudhary, from Ryu to Suppandi, everyone is here.
With a host of international and desi publishers and a lot of Cosplay participants, the place is currently loaded with comic fans and kids. The main attraction of each day being the Cosplay, fetching some cool daily prizes and one bumper trip to Dubai, this Comic Con is off to a flying start.
Many of the known names in the industry (like India Book House), along with some special guests are boosting the event with their presence. The event will be graced by Pran (legendary creator of Chacha Chaudhary and billoo), along with several others.
The International Pavillion is hosting some famous publishers like Manga, Top Cow, Fantagraphics, Drawn & Quarterly, Self Made Hero, First Second & Vertical Inc. So we have got a lot to cheer about. Another attraction is the launch of 10 new titles – with much anticipated Zahra’s Paradise being one of them.
